We had one – relate the R. Stitham and taking
control – We will go after the offending coach vigorously.
E. Any game situations
1.Parallel to the end line a defender is allowed to be in
between the offensive players.
2.On an inbound pass if a player passes to another player
behind the end line, and it hits the wall, they lose the ball.
3. As the
game winds down, keep an eye on the clock.
4.When the game is over, get off the court
5. During a
modified JH game, allow a double team in the backcourt as long as there are at
least the same numbers of players from both teams.
6. Any
officials watching a game with other officials should remain quiet.
F. There will be a hospitality room set up for only
officials during the finals on Feb 29.
G. Camps
during the summer. We will email a reminder, but if you attend a camp, please
keep a copy of pre-payment form and completion. All those submitted will be out
into a raffle and 2 names will be drawn. We up will pay up to $250 for the cost
of the camp only if you attend. 2008 only 1 prize award and 2006 2 were
awarded. In both years the number awarded were the only one submitted. Why let
this opportunity go by.
H.. Play
off Officials are: Read List
I. At the
playoff games, be there early, conduct a pre-game and when you come on the
floor look for jewelry and check the braces. Don’t let a girl play with an
illegal brace, no matter what the coaches say or do.
Make sure before you start the game that the person in charge of the facility
has a protest committee, preferably with one official on it. HAVE A RULE BOOK WITH YOU! It needn’t be on
the floor, but it can be in your jacket or the locker room.
